Blueberry Pickin'

We went with the Dawn Ogg and the Girls and Deanna and Azure blueberry picking and it was wonderful. We picked gobs of blueberries and only paid $1 a quart. How awesome is that. We got so many that I was able to freeze some but mainly we just ate them for snacks and made lots of pancakes. Yum! If anyone around here hasn't heard of the place, it is in Midway called the Brewer Christmas Tree Farms: http://www.brewerchristmastreefarm.gacta.com/. I recommend the trip. It was well worth it.

(Hope you don't mind Deanna, I borrowed your picture. Thanks!!!)

Military Appreciation Day (2)

Here they are making crafts for Daddy. We saved them for him when he gets home since it is too late to mail them.

There was a band playing as we were leaving so we let the kids sit and watch for a while. They were boogiein' down.

Military Appreciation Day (1)

We had a very fun time at the Military Appreciation Day that the Telfair Museum put on for military families. We were able to go to all of the museums for free and they also had a bunch of free food and activities for the family. It was a blast. I hope that they are able to put one on again next year.

Craft Time

So we decided to make some fun crafts. It was so much fun. I love it that Zachary and Emmalyn are both old enough to sit and help the whole time we do a project. It is so much fun. Zachary made a fishing bear...
and Emmalyn made a princess.

When we were done they decided to have them act. The story went like this...do de do de do...We're kissing.
Now she's dead.
Yes it was a short play. But it was cute none the less.

So we decided the other day to do face painting and this is what they wanted. They love playing power rangers. They want me to paint their face every day now.
